Corporate event photography
Corporate event photography is an important aspect of any business event. It captures the feel of the event, the attendees, the speakers, and the overall atmosphere.
We work together with the planning of the corporate event so we can understand the type of event it is, the audience, and the desired outcome of the photographs. During the planning process, this will help us determine the number of photographers that will be needed to make sure there is full coverage of the important details.
When do you need more than 1 photographer to capture your corporate event? If there is a large conference with more than 5,000 attendees, multiple photographers are highly recommended. This will help to ensure that the different speakers and sessions are documented in parallel.
If it is a smaller gathering, such as a team-building retreat, only one or two photographers are needed. It all depends on the schedule and how many things are going on in parallel. Often times at these kind of events, one photographer is documenting candid moments and the other has a setup headshot station where employees can update their headshots.
In many of the indoor spaces that host corporate events, the lighting is not the best. We have professional experience with using artificial light to provide the best quality images.

What makes good event photography?
Details like clean colors, facial expressions, including important parts, close up and overall photos, making sure the photos don’t have a “flashy” feel - meaning a strong flash is being used to take the photograph. We use flash photography for most of our events but we make sure the photos show the feel of the environment.
Event photography for social media
Take your social media accounts to the next level by posting same day professional photographs from your event or conference. Our cameras allow us to instantly download images from our camera onto our phones. We edit the images and share them in a social media folder where we upload and update images throughout the day.
In addition to offering same day photos, we also offer a professional highlight video. It can be produced daily or of the overall event. Here’s an example from a conference in Southern California.

We photograph between 50 - 100 photos per hour of coverage.
Post Processing and Editing of Corporate Event Photographs
Another important aspect of corporate event photography is post-processing. After the event, the photographs will need to be edited and retouched to ensure that they are of the highest quality. This may include color correction, cropping, and other adjustments to ensure that the images are visually pleasing and accurately represent the event.
We always focus to make sure the photos represent true colors, are nicely in focus, have vibrant colors with proper colors. High quality post processing with help with any use of the photos from the events we photograph for our clients.
While photographing events we often deal with sub-par lighting - strong color cast, high contrast, and unpleasant patterns of the light. Proper capture and then editing of the photos can help make those photos look awesome regardless of the imperfect lighting conditions. When need to use flashes capturing the photos but we always make sure the flash use is not too obvious.
Conference event photography
Conference event photography is the documentation of the overall conference. The photos cover everything from the exhibit floor, speakers, and any events and parties that occur.
We work closely with the event organizers ahead of time to get a detailed timeline of all the events that will occur, what type of branding photos they need, a list of speakers, and information on the events and parties that need photography coverage.
